Black Country Pig Poster, Ow Am Ya Dialect Wall Art, Funny Pig on the Wall Print, West Midlands Humour, Gornal Folklore Gift

This Black Country poster features a cheerful pink pig peering over a red brick wall, with the greeting "Ow am ya?" chalked across the bricks in white. Drawn in a warm watercolour and ink style on a soft cream background, it is a playful nod to Black Country dialect, where "Ow am ya?" is the friendly way of asking how someone is. The dialect spelling is kept exactly as shown in the artwork.

The pig on the wall refers to the well-loved Gornal legend, near Dudley, in which a pig was lifted up to a wall so it could watch a passing band and not miss the fun. This affectionate piece of local folklore makes the poster a charming celebration of regional pride, humour and the West Midlands sense of fun.

It is a physical printed poster, made to be framed and displayed. It would look great in a kitchen, hallway, living room, pub-style snug or home office, and it makes a thoughtful gift for anyone from the Black Country, whether a housewarming present, a birthday gift or a cheerful reminder of home for someone who has moved away.
